Meet Syd
I'm the Owner of Syd's Sleek Renderings L.L.C. and the Creator of all my own products. I created this brand to help others that struggle with acne, like myself, to give a better product that leaves us feeling comfortable in your own skin. Since I was 12 I struggled with acne, I tried everything on the market, till my skin was dry and sore. Jump forward to 19 still struggling with acne I had just about given up when I heard about tallow. Of course after so many products I was skeptical, I made my first batch and boy was that a learning curve. But I fell in love with the process and my products, I launch my brand and the feedback was overwhelming. So many like me loved my products, so started my mission to create healthier, trustworthy products, for everyone whose looking for that last hail mary of a product!

About Tallow
Tallow has been used for centuries dating back to even the Ancient Egyptians, for skincare and homemade soaps. Tallow is an all natural biproduct of the Beef Industry, made from the fat pocket of the beef around the kidneys (sounds kind of gross stick with me). This fat is known as the suet is its original form, it is only known as tallow once it has been cooked down. Lucky for all of you my tallow is rendered seven times for the most unscented, pure white product.
So why are we slathering beef fat on our faces? Tallow is high in Vitamins A, D, E, and K, all known for their amazing benefits for skincare. More importantly than that is that tallow because it comes from another animal, is biocompatible with our skin. Meaning that our skin absorbs everything from the tallow, much more easily than plant based or synthetic skincare. So you could say that tallow skincare really pack its punch for rebuilding our skin's natural barriers!

Beeswax
Found in my lipbalms, deodorants, and body butter sticks
I source all my Beeswax from a local Bee company called Sun Honey LLC out of New Richland, it helps your lipbalms stay harder to prevent melting, and brings its own benefits too!
Castor Oil
Found in my tallow balms, lotions, and soaps
I source from Larry Schultz's Organic Farm in Owatonna. I only use cold pressed castor oil, which thru its own process preserves the natural minerals and vitamins in the oil!
All Others
All of my essential oil, scents, and other ingredients, are carefully selected from only USA made companies and as local and highest quality I can get!
